Shoe sizing is genuinely confusing — the same foot can be a UK 8, an EU 42 and a US 9, and every label seems to disagree. In India we follow UK sizing, so "IND" and "UK" are the same number. This guide lays out the full conversion table, shows you the one reliable way to find your size (measure your foot in centimetres), and helps you order the right Fanture pair the first time. That matters here, because our returns cover defects — not change-of-mind or sizing — so getting it right up front is worth two minutes.
IND/UK, EU, US and CM — the full table
In India, shoe sizes follow the UK scale, so your IND size and UK size are identical. EU sizes run higher (an IND/UK 8 is an EU 42), and US sizes differ again and split between men's and women's. The most reliable number of all is the length of your foot in centimetres, because it doesn't depend on any brand's labelling.
Here's how our sizes line up. IND/UK 5 = EU 38 = US M 6 = 24.0 cm. IND/UK 6.5 = EU 40 = US M 7.5 = 25.0 cm. IND/UK 7 = EU 41 = US M 8 = 25.5 cm. IND/UK 8 = EU 42 = US M 9 = 26.5 cm. IND/UK 8.5 = EU 43 = US M 9.5 = 27.0 cm. IND/UK 9.5 = EU 44 = US M 10.5 = 28.0 cm. IND/UK 10 = EU 45 = US M 11 = 28.5 cm. IND/UK 11 = EU 46 = US M 12 = 29.5 cm.
Fanture footwear is unisex and stocked from EU 38 to EU 46. Every product page carries this same table plus a live converter, so you can double-check against whatever number you already know.
How to measure your foot at home
You need a wall, a sheet of paper, a pencil and a ruler or measuring tape. Do it in the evening — feet swell a little through the day, and you want the larger measurement so your shoes never end up tight.
Put the paper on a hard floor with one short edge against the wall. Stand on it with your heel touching the wall, weight on the foot. Mark the tip of your longest toe (which isn't always the big toe). Measure the distance from the wall edge to that mark in centimetres — that's your foot length. Do both feet and use the larger number; most people have one foot slightly bigger.
Match that centimetre figure to the CM column above. If you land between two sizes, size up — a fraction of room is comfortable, while too-tight never becomes comfortable.
Getting your Fanture fit right
Our footwear runs true to size, so order the EU size you normally wear. If you have wider feet, or you measured right on the boundary between two sizes, go up half a size for a roomier, more relaxed fit.
Because these are open and slip-on styles rather than laced shoes, a touch of extra room is comfortable, not sloppy — the ArcFit™ footbed still cradles your foot. When in doubt between two sizes, the larger one is almost always the happier choice.
Use the size guide and converter built into every product page before you order. Sizing-related returns aren't accepted — returns are for manufacturing defects, damage on arrival or a wrong item within 7 days — so it's worth measuring once and ordering with confidence.
CloudFoam™ is heat-sensitive — keep every pair out of direct sunlight and off hot surfaces, and store it in the shade. Sun or heat damage isn't covered by returns.
